Firstly, thank you Markconz & Vanvlak for words of encouragement! Even though it feels I'm getting along very slowly, I'm still enjoying painting. I'm getting quite a rhythm going with my Epic Guard Units, too, I'm finding them quite rewarding to paint. I'm very tempted to buy at some point in the future 2 or 3 more infantries to make my Guard in to a full regiment - Infantry by the Primarchload!
Well, my efforts this week have been even more meagre than last, having only painted:
- 2 Stands of Epic Guard - 1 Marine Devestator
To be fair, I did only have two evenings this week in which to paint - I shouldn't be surprised if this is less over the next two weeks (3 pieces of course work and first part of dissertation to give in - joy! )
Anyway, inspite of fears it'd be weeks before I could post any new pics, here's a couple of pics of the three Devs I've done so far:

Two pics because one is brighter, the other you can see more details on. I'll post more and better pics once I've finished the entire squad. Just 5 more to go...

| Quote (Cuban Commissar @ 25 Nov. 2005 (16:59)) | | Very Nice flesh tearers...is that correct | No, they're Fire Storm Chapter Space Marines, my very own diy chapter (my avatar's the Chapter Insignia, which you might just make out on the models... )
Easy mistake though, they do look very much like Flesh Tearers - well the Devestators anyway, as they've black helmets and shoulder pad trims.
Thank you for continuing positive fedback, keep all the constructive C&C coming!

Sorry to hear that, firestorm. That's why I got into the habit of storing important things like that on a floppy. I learned the hard way, too.

Thank you everyone for your words of support. I'm taking my computer to get it checked over tomorrow morning - looking for a quick fix, to be honest - if not, I'm going to lose a lot of work... also stuff like pics of everything I've been working on - but thank goodness there's forums like this where I've got some kind of record if I have to completely reboot my computer.
@ DS - The ironic thing was over Christmas I was planning on getting EVERYTHING on my computer (Pictures, PDFs, Documents) backed up on DVD Rom. You just don't know when the worst is going to happen, I guess! Lesson learned
@ kr00za - thank you for your positive feedback, glad you like my marines; I especially take it highly from someone of your considerable model-making talent!

Hi!
I know how you feel. I had a wierd hard drive failure which made me reformat everthing with some data loss. It sucked. Luckily I do routine backups, so most of my stuff was safe. Still lost a good amount not yet backed up though...
