After the push earlier this year to finish the Knights for Adepticon I started working on some 32mm models. Rather than throw them in my 6-10mm Watching Paint Dry WiP thread, I'm just going to put the stuff I finished here.

The first is a squad of Ravenscar Mercs for Wrath of Kings. The game came out in March after an 18 month Kickstarter wait. I started painting these back in May.

After a quick return to Epic to paint some Thunderbolts I started in on my second squad of Ravenscar in August.

With those done, I then want on to their character leader: Lord Hob.

And then Iron Eyes, a specialist who's from the same area as them in the fluff but is actually a mercenary.

I got a good deal on some Bushido miniatures earlier this summer and on a lark this past week I started to paint up Chiyo of the Ito Clan. Lots of fine detail on her, I'll try to get some better lighting on the face as I spent a good amount of time on it. I still might go back and add some highlights to the hair (I have no idea how to paint black hair). Any suggestions on the basing?

Shouldn't you be working on some warmaster and epic so we don't have to keep seeing high elves and knights on the gaming table?

You'll only complain about seeing something else on the gaming table, there's no growth there. Painting stuff for new games means I make more people complain. That's a growth market!

Case in point, last week my WoK regular said "and you get to do that because you cheat". It's all about spreading happiness where ever I game.

I finally finished up my Wrath of Kings Skorza Skirmishers. The specialists aren't too far behind, and after them Lord Anton and Korrad. I'm not 100% with how they came out but they're done. Once the rest of the wolves are finished up it's on to painting the Vampires. Hestra is nearly done as well, although I didn't snap any updated pics of her. Maybe I'll get a chance to finish her over the weekend.

Nice! They look suitably wild and vicious.

Thanks guys. Ya, they're huge but the 6mm painting has let me get most of the details no problem.
