We'll see. They would prbably have to make them thinner. The paints are pretty thick.

Interesting to have the list of colours, thanks - I hadnt seen that before.

As for the new pots, they are trying to satisfy everyone but as usual will probably end up with nobody happy. The new pots will have lids that can either be screwed on/off or flipped open/closed. Whilst his does mean that you will be able to get into your paintes however you wish, it also means that the air seal of the flip top will be negated by the screw-off section.

Oh well,I'll stick to adding water every time I put my paints away then.......

I would think that the air seal will be at least slightly better with the new design anyway... :L

I think that this will be OK, as the paints will keep fine as long as you dont take the lid off. With a flip lid, you will not need to unscrew it, so the seal should remain good.

(Posted by Stormseer): "I have old paints I have been given that are over 10yrs old and are fine, on the other hand  have newer ones that have nearly dried in about 6 months!"

- Ive had the same thing happen to me. IT SUX BIGTIME. I have given up on these new screw(ed) pots, and just fill the old pots up, as the screwlid WILL ruin the paints.

I also noticed a new paint called "terracotta" on the list. I wonder if it is the same as the old terracotta paint I used to shade reds with? If it is, it is great, cause that means I can continue painting those Crimson Fists I started 10+ years ago...

That would be great. That was exactly the colour that I had in mind for my Epic Tyranids too... fingers crossed!  :-:

terracotta is a good colour for tyranids, I used that for my nids to give them the dried blood effect. Wasnt too bad. As for the other colours, thats just great, like the previous occasion when they changed them it was right in the middle of me painting tyranid genestealers using imperial pink for the old style look. That was annoying. Well at least I know this time and can stock up!!

I have just spoken to one of the U.K. trolls who seems to be under the impression there are only 6 colours to be discontinued however which ones he didnt know.  So my next question is where did the original list come from?
