AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH.  How could you do this to me?

P.S. I dont think you need two threads for this. :;):  :p

I've been resisiting thousand sons pretty well, and now you go and show me this.  UUUURRRGGGHHH must resist.

And to make things worse, the Ork squigoth looked quite nice too.

?32 for a dread is a bit steep though, thats how much a wave serpent is, though these are a lot better.

I like the lascannons too, but would rather have the plasma cannon.  Not sure about the chainfists, but I dont think the picture shows them well.  Was there any pics of completed/painted ones?

I only saw that page, but they do look too good! I dont know which one I will end up getting, but a couple look very nice.

I have deleted the spare version of this thread, a consequence of getting bash-happy with the 'enter' key!

Well, after considering the options carefully (work? what work?), I have decided tha, if I end up getting one of these guys, it will have to be the Emperors Children one, with Autocannon and Missile launcher arms (I dont much like the Chainfist arms). But, at ?32 for the model, it aint cheap!

I still like the thousand sons one, and the iron warriors one too. (its head looks like something out of transformers  :D    )

I'm kinda glad they cost so much, as it means I'm not gonna get one anytime soon.  If they were around ?25 I would have got one, and then I would have to go and get a bloody thousand sons army.

Maybe I'll sell those marines I've started painting to fund it???  HMMMMM.............

Please help... I feel another project coming on... I dont have my Chaos codex with me, but can an Emperors Children Dread have a Sonic blaster, etc? That would make a cool model!

yes, Emperor Children's dreads can take sonic blasters (or blastmasters, I forget) anyway, but its only in an all Emperor's Children army.

Dammit why is the Alpha Legion stuff always left to last.
They were last to get the armour plating for the Rhino and Land Raider and now last to get their own dred.

FW doesn't have to follow the order of the 40k fluff ???

I kinda get the impression that since the IA:Alpha Legion article in White Dwarf a few months back the Alpha Legion armys are becomming more and more popular.

Maybe they are having difficulty casting all the hydra heads :)
