Darn, that just killed the steam here!

No time for models recently, worked on some 1:1 scale terrain instead. Large scale modelling! I did some work to my patio and laid slate tile. I still may add some enhancer to the stone to darken it up. But overall I like the way it turned out.

Im getting there with my 6mm beastman horde. The bulk of the microworld games stands are now done, 11 more stands from assorted manufactures waiting to be painted and I need to acquire some more chariots.

On reflection I should have chosen a basing method that didn't match the skin colour so well :P

Beastmen done :) At some point I will go back and add some chariots, regular minotaurs and maybe some more basic infantry, but that can wait. Ordered some MWG wood elves for them to fight

Not based for any particular system or made to any list – just for fun :D. Everything is MWG apart for the cyclopes from rapier and the harpies which are pulp ww2 vampires.

Well, I'm trying to paint up two small armies for a battle report (Marines v. Marines, but they can't all be exciting).

Unfortunately, I keep not painting them. Repeatedly. I'm doing it right now!

Bah. Perhaps this weekend.

Cheers

Not really, although I did base in multiples of 3 stands just in case it does go that way :D I really don't have a set ruleset in mind, i've looked at HOTT as well and really like the more abstracted army selection; might try HOTT style army selection with some modified E:A rules.

Started on microworld games elves – archers, centaurs and owlbears are cleaned and undercoated. Hope to get painting next weekend.

Looks good, but not very realistic. Needs more weathering.
