Thanks for the info CS - sounds good!
Is there a WW1 version too?  Sounds like it would be very compatible

Thanks Louis!

I'm still mulling over:
a. What rules to use, and
b. What scale models.  Naturally I'd like swarms of aircraft which is unachievable in larger scales (for me) but the detailed rules and models are lovely too.  So many choices.

I wonder if a VSF Bag the Hun variant is out of order....

Hi. That is the WWI version of Bag the Hun. As far as I know, there is no WWI version of Blue Sky.

I wonder if a VSF Bag the Hun variant is out of order....

Now that may even persuade me into VSF!

Next stage, and I am looking for advice. I would like to pick up a book on WWII aircraft. I want something that has pretty much every plane, on every side, and which has vital stats and some background notes (impact, theatres, weaknesses, that kind of thing).

Does anything like this exist? I have found a few examples, and it would be good to get some feedback. Potential buys...

Complete Combat Aircraft

This looks like the best that I can find.

Aircraft of WWII

This also looks like it has potential. Does anyone have either of these, or can suggest an alternative?

Thanks.

My two sets of aircraft have arrived, so I thought that I would present some comparisons.

My Gallery

I have comparred the Fw190 and P47 from GHQ and Collectair here.

I hope that this is useful.

Thanks CS - nice models - the Fw190 looks crisper for some reason - or is it the pic? Or me eyes...
