Hi Guys,

Long time no post!

I've not had much time for wargaming over the last few years, although my friend and I do manage a game of Frostgrave once a month! We've finished the main campaign and are now going to trying out Gaslands.

Anyway, my eldest son and I have been looking through the FoW Blitzkrieg book and he'd really like to do a French force. Now I've noticed there are various other suppliers of 15mm tanks and figures for Germans, but not so many for the French.

Any ideas?

Maybe use british infantry? As far as I remember the french used a longcoat in the beginning of the war, and the british used something similar, but a bit longer later on.

For vehicles not a lot to find in 15mm, though.

For minis (play russia and germany my self) I have always been happy with plastic soldier company, http://theplasticsoldiercompany.co.uk/, maybe write them and ask for french troopers and tanks?

Good luck with your project

That could be a way to go.

I have been checking out PSC for their infantry - they're certainly cheaper than Battlefront!

Thanks for the reply Nitpick. :)

They do look good. To be honest I plumbed for the FoW Somuas and Hotchkiss tanks. I found a few on eBay that were slightly cheaper than Battlefronts. Still cost a bomb though!

I'm also collecting early war Germans - thank goodness for The Plastic Soldier Company!

How do they compare to Battlefront's offerings?
