Various people have asked if I could do stirges, well this is about as small as I can get them so they’ll have to do for now.

The three stirges Moe, Larry and Curly

And now with some paint on them

I also included the rat and spider swarms that came with the Pocket Quest https://theminiaturearchitect.com/products/pocketquest base game which kicked of this whole monster sculpting madness ;)

@legion 4
Dunno ,basically got one to many "Haha thats great now do stirges(smirk, smirk)" comments I guess ;)

Or maybe just to see if I could pull it off.
Also as a DM I always liked stirge swarms :)

They are fantastic sculpts, I saw them the other day on the google+ group.

I love the purple worm and the beholder. Your cube also came out really nice, I saw the same video and have been thinking of doing the same thing, though I have been thinking about how to get some dead bodies inside on such a small scale! :)

You should see about doing some sculpts for the next pocket quest expansion, you are right, there is a lack of the more 'monster' type of monsters in 6mm.

Thanks for the compliment.

I've been thinking of ways to put some objects inside the cube to. This one was made by applying hotglue over a clear plastic frame, I wonder if making a solid cast might not result in clearer hotglue and allow me to put stuff inside of it at the same time.

As to the rest of the sculpts I'm going to be redoing them because I made a number of newbe mistakes that would make them problematic for casting. Once that's done I'll see if some one is interested in them, if not I might look into getting them cast myself (maybe).

Started painting my Pocket Quest miniatures. They are all from Perfect six miniatures and are great 6mm figures full of character and easy to paint.

lets start with the heroes shall we

And the first of the orcs

My pictures really don't do these figures any justice, the glare blots out a lot of the details but I only have my phone camera at the moment so they'll have to do.

I also managed to finish another Grell sculpt, this time it's a Grell mage with a dragon claw staff which came out a little bit larger than I intended but it still looks good imo.

That's it for now, more orcs, a troll, rock golem and maybe a few more new sculpts to follow soon (I hope)

Cheers,
Stroezie.

The heroes and orcs have come up a treat. Especially the orcs, they look fantastic! (6mm eyes painted, madness!)

Love your new sculpt. He is excellent. You are getting quite a good selection of monsters, you will need a bigger dungeon soon!

Same as the other old threads folks,
I put up the older pictures again after they were lost during the whole photobucket farce.

Well maybe not, I do have some pictures of a monster sculpt I hadn't posted yet so here you go:

A Hook Horror (actually quite pleased with how he turned out ;) )
