So I got myself 12 Spiders of Mirkwood from Battle of Five Armies.
Now how to use them in normal Warmaster?

I am thinking Goblin spider riders. And with 2 pr. base facing the short edge I can make two units unless I want to cram 3 to a base and make 1 unit and have three spare spiders for characters? What do you guys think on how to use, basing etc.? And where to get the goblin crew?

Just a word of warning. There are problems with the full resolution pictures I posted.
Sooo I just checked into it. It seems I have a hit a bandwidth limit (though there is no way to check that in Imageshack). I bought a Pro account thinking that would be enough, but there is a 1TB limit on viewing apparantly. And since my full resolution links no longer work I assume I have hit that brick wall. Reading up on it it seems you may be able to view if you create an account and log in, but I am not sure if it works with free accounts as well.
Sorry about the trouble :-(

Me 2. That Nagash is great.
I love how you can bring the newest GW stuff into the Warmaster scale with all the options out there.

Eureka is getting Chaos Dwarf war engines soon for example. And greenskins are getting some really cool new toys soon as well from steppe hordes.

BTW my pictures seems to be working again!

I have a 2000 pts. Vampire Counts army, but it is not legal as I am lacking four units of Zombies (and would love some ghouls too). Anyone has some they care to part with? I can give 9-10£ pr. blister if I must.

About Nagash I am thinking his stats are like a Tomb King on a Dragon, but on top of that he knows all six undead spells (Tomb Kings and Vampire Counts) and can field units from both undead armies. Finally he may be able to cast to spells pr. turn. I am thinking 50 points on top of a Tomb King on Dragon.

Ahhh just received a couple of new WARMASTER ressource books:

On a more serious note, what do you guys think of my Castle gates? Should I buy new ones and paint them wooden instead? I chose to paint them like oxidized copper...

Should I throw them out (or in acetone) or does this work? Feedback wanted!

Personally I'd of gone with wood and copper or brassy color on the cross beams. There's a lot of detail to be had on those gates and the castle is so boss to begin with that the extra attention is justified. Not that they don't look good just that they don't pop and become the focal point I think you want them to be.

I agree with both your points.

As I have tons of things to do yet incl. painting wood details and highlight the whole castle and some 1000s and 1000s of WM minis that are unpainted I may just leave them for now and re-buy or redo later...
