LOL, Tom are you on a power trip or something? I mean I know I handed the site over to you and the team, but now I'm not authorised to even view Epic40k.com?!?!
Seriously, I'm guessing its because you're altering the setup of the site etc. but in case you hadnt seen it, the Epic40k.com URL is now Authorisation restricted.

Try again, it works fine from my machine.
I think it is configured to accept only people who first make a charitable donation to the 'Get Tom and Avril Lavigne together' fund...
Try sending a cheque to my address and a petition to Avril listing 100 reasons why she should go out with me .
Seriously though, it should display fine, I have no idea why the authorisation message come up... it is currently on a transitional phase being ported between two servers. Hopefully it only lasted a few minutes.
Checking it's IP address the transition hasn't taken place yet... this is probably just a temporary thing.

I (still) get a popup requesting userID and password (with the ominous header of PowWeb big Brother... ) and then on pressing cancel "Authorization Required This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required."
Ho hum, I'll keep trying and if its still not working in 48hours I'll let you know.

OK, this just got serious. I was presented with the username and password! Me, yes me!
Still, glad to hear that things are moving along with the site.

Ah! I understand now! The new IP address has to replicate across the internet should be intermittent access errors for the next 48 hours. Then it will have migrated successfully.

Hi!
I am also getting a screen asking for user name and password and since I dont have a valid one it rejects my entry. You can bypass this by going through www.epic40k.co.uk, but not directly through Pauls old site.

Mate, I don't have a valid user name and password and I am the admin!! Scary stuff, but it should be resolved soon, it is just a migration issue, standard procedure.

Greetings -
I registered a domain (www.micheleandrich.com) a week ago - I read that it takes 48-72 hours to propogate the dns information - it's been 168 hours. What is the longest I should expect to wait before starting to search for other sources for this problem?
Thanks -
Thomas Johnson tomis @ the belay.com |
It eventually took Thomas 192 hours for the server info to proporgate.
My ticket has been marked as resolved, so I assume that it is just a normal problem...
