Hi!
Too bad, it seems you guys in the UK have your share off GW store jerks.
It does sound like you have a couple of real big stores with lots of space for instore gaming. I haven't seen GW stores here that seem to be that big, but I haven't visited the ones in Maryland (the original ones), they might be bigger.

I think there are about 10 (maybe less) GW's across the UK with Battle Bunkers, Ipswich and some other place I can't recall being the newest... I think it was the end December/early January when they opened...

Are there any battle bunkers in the US?
What exactly is a battle bunker? A place with a lot of tables to game?

I don't know about the US...
A battle bunker is like a room (or a few) out the back of the GW store which you can get a card for if you are over 16 (yay, no little munchkins  ), and use the gaming tables there, and paint and model too I believe....

Ah, thanks. I doubt there are any of those in the US, most GW stores seem to be in malls and at the high cost of rent, I dont see them using that extra space for anything but selling product.

and the ones in malls don't get enough space to sell things anyway, I can't see how they expect our stores to carry all Specialist games material. It just won't fit!

Hi!
Which pretty much answers how much support Epic A and other specialist games will get with such limited space. I expect only larger "battle bunker stores" will be able to adequately support these games.

According to the GW website there are 39 in the US. Don't know how many bunker stores. Certainly not the one here.

Yes, there is a Battle Bunker in Maryland in the vicinity of G/W US. Where I live hobby shops with G/W are next to non-existent. I prefer and am very statisfied with, mail order with a phone call or on the internet. It works for me  !!! And has for years ...
