I have reported to ebay about fake listings for all GW games by sellers from China
They are reposting photos of prior ebay sales of large collections of second hand materials by North America/European vendors.
There will be only one photo, the info will be cut and paste of the original.
They will offer free shipping and the average price will be under 30.00 US.
All of the sellers will have a long name with a zero rating. This is key as is the free shipping.

Take care guys
Example
Took out the links as they have been removed

Original listing https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Warhammer-Epic- ... 1438.l2649

Up to 50 plus pages removed from ebay

Are they just selling re-casts of old OOP GW miniatures?
It's not something I have seen on UK ebay at all (you have to think it's probably a pretty small market, compared to re-casting for 40k and ForgeWorld, Warmachine etc?)

I must say - I have much less problem with this than re-cast of currently available miniatures, which actually hurts companies trying to sell their new releases. Although I realise the kinds of places that do this will also be doing that as well, and I guess you need to help stop all of their revenue flow.

no, they are posting fake listings, presumably using a disposable paypal account and stealing money

IDK how that works with PP unless they're trying to extend the time past the window to open a fraud report

Its gotten to the point where its really hard to trust anyone anymore. :(

I almost got burned last year by someone selling some Vampires, who managed to extend delivery past eBay's fraud-prevention window (which I let happen because I was off backpacking in South America). Luckily, PayPal has a much more reasonable window for filing claims.

Now I am nervous. I am awaiting something from China. Fingers crossed.
