I just realized that the Warbringer from Nuke Shrimp is probably PERFECT for AT18. It's just a tad too big for the truescale 6mm titans. I REALLY want to see a comparison now.

Jimmy- I have the Nuke Shrimp Warbringer- my AT18 GM set should be coming in by the weekend- I'll build one Titan and get a pic as soon as I can!

Question: now that we're on the cusp of the actual AT release, are we going to set up a sub-forum for it in the active games section?

Just use 3mm models instead and truly go 'Epic'! :D

As someone with a few Titans (not as many as many on this forum though), I'd like to point out that the old titans and scenery (i.e. the cardboard buildings I have loads of) is scaled against each other appropriately. And there's nothing stopping you from scaling the distance down (1/2 or just convert inches to centimeters) and use the new rules with the old titans.

If the rules are any fun, I might give that a try.

I don’t think you even need to convert the distances. Just use the distances as-is and just pretend the imaginary giant fighting robots are faster and have longer ranges.

Yeah and maybe prune all those dead games while we're at it too?

As opposed to AT88.

Nice symmetry in those numbers...

The Grand Master Edition has sold out, with a reprint due early 2019. Looks like the masses are on-board :)

The initial response of the public, voting with their wallets, has clearly been good.

On the other hand, Shadow War: Armageddon sold out quickly as well, and where is it today?

Now it's up to GW to make sure that this gets proper support to maintain momentum.
