Not sure when we would be likely to see them in store mind, the campaign will run for at least a month or so and then you need to supply the backers before making a production run for retail, so I'm guessing more like late summer for retail availability but Ben would probably be better able to answer that question.

Please post a link to the campaign here when it goes live!

Sure no problem but I expect E&C will be doing his best to make it know in any case. :)

Yup-good times ahead. Also the return of AI teaser trailer was welcome news

Yes, though it sounds like AI is being redone as 8mm so all the old FW AI planes will be 1/3 too small.

The new knight looks nice. Wish I hadn't part painted an army of forum knights already but I'll try and resell them.

I wouldn't at all sweat it. It'll probably still use the base joy the model for ranging and arcs. Like all those dudes on FB that busted out their old school Titans to play the new AT. Also the crashed xiphon isn't all that much bigger than the fan made one.

By the by, though there's limited amounts of new news in it, here's my notes from the last Twitch feed of a week ago:
  • The Horus Heresy was created for AT88 to explain why two of the "same" side would fight one another
  • Acastus Knight Porphyrion showed
    • Walking artillery
    • This will be the biggest Knight
    • Work in pairs
    • 2 per box
  • Knight Questoris upgrade sprue
    • Has 3 missile launcher, 6 power gauntlets, 3 shoulder weapons, and 3 heads
    • Blister with 2 sprues
    • Will eventually be in the Knight box
  • Loyalist & Traitor Stratagem cards
    • Some cards are specific to the Legios - some cards are general
    • 26 cards each deck
  • Legendary Command Terminals
    • 5 named Titans in each pack (Titans as opposed to Princeps)
    • Stats are slightly different
    • All have a special rule
    • Some background on the back
    • Some are from novels, rule books, etc.
    • Good mix of all Titan classes
    • Have pre-ordained weapons loadouts
  • Next decal sets will be Atarus and Tempestus, which will be a limited print run
  • Knight terminals will be back in August - PDF downloads are available for all now
  • Traitor and Loyalist dice sets are on the way - Legio specific dice will not be done
  • Spires kit is coming out soon
    • Other building dressing kits are in the works
    • They expect that elements from 40K terrain sets will be integrated into AT
  • Some smaller resin pieces are on the way - scatter terrain
  • Vulcan Mega-Bolter for the Reaver is on the way
  • Missile Launcher is also on the way
  • Lucius Pattern armor is unlikely - though they might do bits - it's a resource issue
  • Xenos are still possible "in the far future"
  • Game has been more popular than they expected
    • AT has a community that fills a niche and is self-sustaining
    • The new scale has a solid fan base - Golden Daemon painters, etc.
  • Aeronautica Imperialis is coming back - no other info available right now

Really intrigued by the AI news - of all the games that GW did, was not expecting that to be renewed, especially not before say, Battlefleet Gothic.

I am guessing that the scale will be 8mm to match AT so there'll be some truly gigantic models compared with the old Epic flyers.

Yeah it wasn't expected but then looking at some of the the strategems fresh I think they're trying to cross polinate a bit. For instance they've got the strafing one so what better than to have a model to suggest the use and that you can play a different game with while you are at it? I'm wondering if they're being smart here and testing the water, so to speak, about broadening the small scale gaming range where different parts from different games can be used together. So when the Nemesis Titans hit AT, they also get a use in AI as a flak system (being covered in AA after all).

What I think will be most interesting about this is if they do the Aeronautica Imperialis as a relatively-simple reprint of the original system or if there will be any any attempt to mesh it into the structure of AT18.

Next month’s White Dwarf will come with “design your own Titan Legion” special rules guidelines, apparently.

From today's AT18 Year One in Retrospective:
  • Future books - Seige of Kado (Hive world of Kado), Battle of Calth and Shadow Crusades (Ultramar)
  • Horus Heresy is fun because that's when the Mechanicum and Legios pulled out all the stops
  • At 8mm scale you can do far bigger battles than even Apocalypse - that's the goal
  • Andy and James Hewitt did most of the base rules
  • Owen and JTY have the helm for the game now
  • They did plastic because if AT was popular, it would consume FW's capacity, but this took time
  • The game was designed to be stately, as Titans tend to move slow, much like battleships
  • Titan machine spirits have personalities, though they are not strictly intelligent
  • Titans of Legend are those that have more divergent personalities - and thus special rules
  • Molech Knight only armies, even though their intent is to provide support
  • Knight only armies tend to have high casualties vs Titans - this was intentional
  • July White Dwarf has a collection of Legio Traits, Strategems, etc. for making your own Legio or splinter of an existing one
  • First AT rules in WD for 30 years
  • Acastus Knight is obviously on the way - largest knight
  • Most Knights are like cavalry - Acastus is like artillery
