Indeed, Thanks for the pics, possible to use as 'true scale' if on the large side but oh so expensive for a hobby budget like mine (non-existent at present, poor at the best of times!)

Pricy, yeah, but I've not found them to be much more expensive than the most obvious forum stuff parallels that obviously aren't still around. So in that regard, I'm quite glad for them.

Very true DK but still, hard to justify when you have a dozen or so Titans lying around already. I'm glad to see them too, just not allowed to actually buy any!

The one thing I've not seen yet is a comparison shot of FW and new plastic Warhound, but from the looks of it it's going to be as big a difference as the Reaver is.

I'm a little surprised by the dearth of news on AT18.

We know where they're going: there's the weapons packs, the Titanfall book, and supposedly new Titans in the works, but no real sense of when it will all happen, or in what order...

Yeah, I've got my Grandmaster box all still sitting, waiting to buy reavers/warhounds and start assembling until there is at least news of the weapon packs :(

Surprised you're waiting myself. The vast majority of the community has just immediately moved on designing and printing our own weapons or just kitbashing with parts. We don't need to wait.

I've heard that weapon packs won't be released rather just different boxed titans ie Warlord with 2 Missiles etc

Not having access to a 3D printer makes that trickier. If you know of anyone who's printing weapons and willing to share more than the files, let me know ;)

OK I was in an independent games shop today and I saw a pack of warhounds at 10% off MSRP and I looked onthe back and it had a picture saying 'actual size' and I thought to myself 'Eh, that's not /too/ big' so I guess I have a pair of warhounds now.

(But ideally to go with my 6mm fellows, not for AT18!)

I'd be incredibly surprised if they do that, honestly. It would be catastrophically bad for sales, and they've actually been somewhat smarter than your average (overpriced resin) bear about that of late. Also consider their "really, really we promise!" statements about being a fully supported game on the back of their newly voiced kinder, gentler GW philosophy.

I'm a (massive) cynic, but even GW executives would be able to see how suicidal for the burgeoning goodwill attempt that would be.

neither do I but I use well shapeways all the time. plenty of AT stuff posted for print on demand and resin casted AT items. This is just one of many store fronts I've seen

Feel free to sling any those STLs you seem to have my way :P

Much as I love fanware and have a collection mostly comprised of it, I'm making a point of supporting GW now they are actually making the models (scale) I want to see. Encourage good behaviour! ;D

We have been here before.
Resources are too spread across a broad range of new releases for different games. AT18 will have arrived when something new is released which will show a real desire to support and develop it on an ongoing basis.

Very true Lyle … we'll have to wait and see.

But again, I'm not buying anything from AT18. Save for some of the buildings and Battlefield accessories and Objectives. That I purchased. And sold off the rest that came in that box. It helps my local hobby shop gives us 20% discount on all GW items … of course … ;D
