Hi all,

Its been a quiet weekend for socialising, but a busy weekend for hobby :D

I've updated the HobbyBrush with two Warmachine / Hordes Galleries and two 10mm LotR Battle of Five armies Galleries - a total of 66 more pictures, taking me over the 2000 images mark - crack open the champagne!

Warmachine Protectorate of Menoth gallery:

Hordes Skorne Gallery

There's also some boring pictures of my workshop on the Blog, and links to properly embedded versions of the Sees of War articles I added recently

I hope you enjoy them :)

I'm now celebrating opening over 100 Galleries of images on my site, and included another Epic Gallery along with it - The predictable "Epic Misc" section contains a random variety of pieces, but many that will be (Hopefully fondly) remembered by the older members of the Forums :)

All updates on the news page as usual ;)

Well, I certainly do remember these, and indeed they bring back fond memories, just as your still top notch Logan Grimnar you reposted some time back :)

Do you still paint epic minis ? And if so, why don't we get to see them more ?

Thanks for the kind words :)

I very rarely paint epic minis these days. I moved on to Seeds of War whilst I was helping develop that, but since my involvement in that project was ended, I've had little inspiration to do much 6mm sci fi at all.

I have played a couple of games lately though, for the first time in many years, fielding my Titan Legion which I do plan to expand, but dont hold your breath!

Rest assured any epic I paint will be posted here! :)

Found it!

Knew I had an updates thread on these boards somewhere ;D

I've been updating the HobbyBrush quite a bit again lately, and with a couple of epic galleries in the mix as well, so i thought I'd post here once more.

Its fitting that the last time I used this thread was for the Epic Misc section, where I noted that some of the pieces were pretty old-skool. This time around I'm inviting you to turn the clocks back even further, to the very first days of epic40k.com where you might have witnessed my first forrays into epic converting.

Epic - The Early daysis now open!

From last week's updates, there's also some of my first epic Tau online once more along with an Epic Necron army I posted about in another thread.

Other recent gallery updates include:
Infinity Ariadna Chasseur
Necromunda Orlock Gang
6mm Franco-Prussian War by Baccus
Warmaster Misc Gallery
and the start of my 28mm Roman Gallery.

All updates and links can be found on my News blog- here's some of the epic pics as tasters :)

Wow, great camo. I wish I could paint lines that straight, anytime I try to line with black it comes out terrible.

Hey, I like the urban camo on the Ramjack. Did you start with a grey base and then paint the white on or start with a white base and then paint the grey over? It looks like you painted the grey on first then painted a lighter grey then the white over that. I ask because I love urban camo and I think I might try to do this camo.

Thanks Guys :)

Strangely I havent' been happy with any of those camo schemes & continue to look at my vast piles of DRM Pax without a clue how to paint them! :s

Col Kane -
I did indeed start with a basic grey scheme on the Ramjack and worked the camo up from that. I cant remember which shades I used now but it was grey, drybrush, black wash, re-dry brush. Then I painted light grey blobs and some black blobs attached to them and highlighted these with a lighter grey (not white, despite appearances!).

Not much help, but if I remember when I next track the model itself down, I'll lay out a better definition of the colours used!

Yet more DRM Galleries have gone up in the last two weeks.

This week I posted a photo-log of the making of theDRM Display boards

And Last week I added a Gallery of Unreleased Seeds of War models from a 5th Race we were working on years ago - dont know what ever came, or will ever come of those!

Other non-6mm related updates include:
Guest Gallery of 40K Marines
Guest Gallery of Warmachine Cryx
Guest Gallery of WHFB Chaos

Basically, I've been pretty lazy myself lately... :P
