Something that struck me coming back was the large number of pinned topics. In some areas it is quite a few.

Should we rethink what needs to be pinned?

Just a thought, feel free to dismiss me on this one.

Would it not make sense to have an "Archive" set of forums, which people can't post on, where venerable threads can be shunted to?

Taking the Epic 6mm board as an example, the "Speed IG - A Painter's Diary", "ECW L&D Slaanesh Chaos Altar", "Master Paint-Stripping THread" and "On Sculpting" threads could probably be shunted to such a board, with some of the other ECW threads being moved there in June.

Just a thought :)

Ummm... there is... I guess that I should rename it to make it more obvious.

The real problem is just that I have not archived the pinned threads for too long. I apologise, and will do this as soon as I can.

No problem. You are right, and there are too many pinned topics right now. I generally pin anything that I will want to archive later, and it has built up. Thanks.
