Post subject:  Necron rule

Quote:
Units with Necron that have been destroyed can regenerate. Formations can return one previously destroyed Necron unit in the end phase of each turn either on or off the board.

What happens if a unit with Necron rule and character dies and gets "resurrected"?
Does it goes back with the character?
-Yes, character is integral part of the unit
Quote:
The unit and the character must operate together throughout the entire battle.

-No, the character does not have the Necron rule, and is a separate unit. (This one clashes with the above quote from characters paragraph imo)

Reading the rules as is I think that yes he can put himself back together, but not sure if that was the intention.

Character's aren't units. They're a add-on/upgrade/wargear for other units. If the Lord's unit is destroyed it comes back when its unit comes back.

Thanks, but the first paragraph of rules (about characters) states that some units are characters ;)

Loose language, just keep reading that paragraph. It would have been clearer if there was different terms for unit and stat line in the rules, yes. Characters have stat lines but aren't units in the sense of INF, AV, LV, WE and AC are.
