Hi guys,

Just getting into EA with orks and had some questions for you:

1. Drop Rok - seen this in a couple of lists but can't find the rules for it?
2. Are there current rules (and lists for them) for unique units such as spleen rippas, bubble chuckas, gobsmashas, vehicular lifta droppas, and the big rocket unit manned by grotz?

thanks!

Hi and welcome aboard.

The Drop Rok is something that is a maybe for some of the Ork variant lists. Basically it acts as a giant Drop Pod as seen in the Space Marine and Black Legion lists. Whilst it is fun for the odd club game we haven't made it work for tournament lists so it has dropped in priority for other lists that need testing.

Ork vehicles have been cut back in definition to Gunwagons and Gunwagons with Oddboy up-grades and this is how you should look at them for EA.

Pulsa Rokkits count as Big Guns.

Hope this helps and I look forward to hearing about your Green exploits.

I think there's a grot army list somewhere that was looking at using the grot rokkit model.

!

Yeah I have a few of those. Like Tim points out the ork vehicles have been simplified since the good olf Space Marine era. I have used some of the old vehicles you mention for representing oddboy upgraded gunwagons. It's a nice way to get to use them old school miniatures.
