Think I've spotted a gremlin : EUK Black Legion - Icon Bearer for Retinues is coming up as 50pnts, but codex says 25.

Currently there is nobody maintaining those lists, I've not been involved with the project personally, if you want to change them then you can fork the files directly, I'll then merge them into the main branch when you're happy

You can submit a pull request with any changes.

KIC I've noticed it's quite common for updates to be not quite right when they hit the server. Do you have a separate testing branch you can merge into to check pull requests etc?

No because apart from your contributions, I'm doing this mostly by myself, I do endeavour to check lists but mistakes are easily missed...

We could do with a separate test page like EUK used to operate, but that would just add another delay to the proceedings

OK I set one up using Heroku as an example (it took me 10 minutes).
https://armyforge.herokuapp.com/

It deploys from github automatically. With Heroku you can get separate production and staging deployments, and also specific temporary deployments specifically for reviewing pull requests. I don't have access to Adam's repo so I pointed it at my own for now. Heroku is free up to a point - you get enough "Free dyno hours" to run an app 24x7 but there are limitations e.g. it sleeps with inactivity. Perfect for this type of usage though.

Its great if you know all that stuff, I don't have the background in software dev or server admin stuff, if I did then Adam could probably let me do all the server updates which would mean I could fix mistakes much more rapidly than I can do right now

i'm aware we can do better with quality and automation, unfortunately i don't have the time at the moment.

Kyussinchains is doing a sterling job on list updates which has resulted in a fantastic NetEA resource.

i've turned on github pages, so if you go here...

i'm considering making this the home for the site and ditching appspot.

Just to be clear I wasn't criticising, I use the site a LOT so am super appreciative of KIC! I was just offering to do all that tech stuff for you, to save you both time. The tech details were just an FYI for Adam really. But actually github pages is perfect for the static content too, if you change the structure of the report sligjtly. Adam I think switching over would be ideal.

Literally just that github pages is quite naive (or so I understood, only used it a few times) so the army forge app is at /war/ rather than / (root). Moving the contents of /war/ to the root of the repo would preserve all the existing URLs once you migrate the domain. That does mean the Java stuff would no longer fit. The other way of doing it is to rename it /docs/ as github will also recognise that as the root of a project site.
