Question 1 A ork Warband formation with a Gunfortress
1.Can the Gun Fortress be fired at seperatly?
2. if the Blitz brigade takes 3 AP hits do they all go to the gun fortress? only one then to the next tank?
3. if the warband only has 5 infantry left and 8 tanks. if it takes 17 AP hits can it get more than 5 blast markers for dead units? do the excess hit make blast markers on the tanks in the warband?

1. In this situation the gun fortress can be fired at separately if they are being shot at with AT shots or TK shots.
AP shots would automatically be allocated to the infantry. AT shots would go to the gun fortress. MW would (I think) be applied front to back. TK shots (I think) would be applied to the gun fortress first since it is a War Engine.
2. AP shots would never go to the gun fortress since it is an AT target.
3. No. The 17 AP shots would be allocated to the five remaining infantry (3 shots to some and 4 to others), they would make their armor saves if applicable, the dead would be removed and replaced with Blast Markers, and then those BMs would then be on the rest of the formation. If they started with no Blast Markers then the remaining 8 tanks would have 6 BMs on them (five for the presumed casualties and one for being shot at).
