Progress has been slower than hoped due to 'real job'. But here is a painted proto-type of one of the mid-sized rooms. This has less cracked tiles than other rooms as it's supposed to be a more important room like an armoury or hall.

Hi,

Been a while since i've posted and we've had the 6mm canals in toxic green for a while, but you can now order them in a 'sewage brown' or 'clear water'.

More things to come...

https://honeybeeworks.co.uk/products/6m ... arter-pack £15 for over 4ft of canal.

I noticed this thread the other day, and made an order for a 28mm bridge and a 6mm canal - I intend to use the latter probably as a sluice in a 28mm diorama. I'm not going OT with 28mm stuff though: I am posting because I was VERY impressed with the service. I made the order yesterday - a Sunday - and by very early this morning I'd found a reply to check make sure I really wanted this odd combination, or whether I'd made a mistake in ordering stuff in different scales. I was wondering in fact whether that unusual order (a canal goes with a bridge, so the difference in scale is a bit odd) would be noticed - it was, and I very much appreciated their checking whether I'd messed up. It was obvious it wasn't just a sale but a considerate transaction which showed they know and care about their their product and customers. Thanks! ;D
I am now very much looking forward to receiving these!

Post subject:  Re: Honeybee Works Closing In April

So after 3+ years Honeybee works will be stopping production late April. My real life job has changed, for the better, but it means even less time to focus on HBW and also a move across to the US. Moving the equipment is just too expensive.

Last orders will be 20th of April on the website or ebay store. If you do want anything please place an order as early as possible.

Thanks to everyone who has purchased from us over the years and I hope you enjoyed our products.

Really sad to hear the store is going, although realise other life things happen and 3+ years is a good run!

Will make sure I get an order in before the store goes.

Sorry to see you close, but good luck with the new job.

Placed an order for a few things that I always meant to pick up.

Pfft....pfffft is this thing on?

Well it's 4 years since we moved over to the US and we finally have our green cards so I can now look at income outside of my main job.

So the question is; is there interest in the product range returning (and being added to)?

We live in North Carolina, so north american postal rates would be less than before, European would be higher.

Wow, four years?

I got my runway painted, but my nano space hulk is still waiting to be started.

Be interested in canals if you start up again.

Post subject:  Re: Honeybee Works Closing In April

We started our little company making scenery for a grim dark future in 6mm and 32mm scales in 2016. In 2019 we moved to the US and had to stop due to visa restrictions.

Well we are now able to resume states side. The website is up (based on square) and we can start taking orders. Everything that is currently listed is 6mm (Epic) scale but the 32mm (40k) scale stuff will be up shortly.

I've got some new stuff that was in development when we had to close that will be released shortly.

Our goal is to produce low cost, high quality and durable scenery. If there is something you would like to see us make let us know. Everything you see on our website is either plastic or resin, no wood or cardboard.

We've set flat rate postage to keep it simple, we post to US (all states), Canada, Europe and Australia/NZ. If you are somewhere else let us know and we will try to find a price to get to you.

Looking forward to your orders and feedback.

Best regards Neil & Pam
