Ta again! In the end I gave up thinking of an idea for the fourth quarter of the larger ruin and just added more rubble. I think it would have got too busy anyway!
The assorted rubble looked so good as it was that I didn't want to spray the whole thing grey and lose all the variety, so only the plastic parts were sprayed. Then started the endless black and white tiling...
Followed by some washes to darken down the rubble where it had got too pale.
I still need to edge highlight the ruins, black out the windows again and pick out a few details, but it already looks good on the table.
The next batch of stuff wasn't painted specifically for Epic, but Platformer bits are often scale-less enough to work pretty well, especially if you don't use the pieces with handrails.
overall steps (but not matched to specific photos):
German Panzer Grey undercoat.
Bright Bronze base coat, applied zenithally so that the dark grey undercoat would show through on the undersides.
A light drybrush of old GW Mithril Silver.
A mix of Vallejo Black and Sepia Dipping Formula painted on with a brush.
Finally, some lighting added in blue and green, then varnish.
