Yeah, I was thinking about it and separate walkways will be a better idea.

So last night with ZERO sleep due to the little 'un deciding he wanted to be wide awake I ended up doing what was to be a Hall of Justice. This is a prototype ONLY and needs LOTS of work doing to it yet as well as enlarging it. There will be a perimeter wall around it on the final model.

The road tile is something I'm working on where base plates with various different pieces of terrain can be dropped into it...you get the idea. Again, very poor cam phone pictures....sorry!

I was going to base my town around the cathedral, adding eagles to mimic the hall of justice... Changed my mind.

I'd now rather base my whole games room around this beast and look to recreate block mania/the apocalypse war! :D

Cool idea with the Cathedral mate.

I forgot to mention this us a mini local Hall of Justice. Wait until you see what I have planned for the Central Hall of Justice :). Its gonna be HUGE as will be the Peach Trees style hab buildings. One of theses buildings will dominate the gaming table :)

Well i want that model for sure!

Can't wait to see the finished structure with the walls added.

Would it be possible to push the walls closer to the pavement edge to increase space behind the walls for figures?

Cheers mate :)

Yes, the walls will be moved to the edge of the tile. Buttresses removed to a) tie in with Precinct building and b) allow more room between walls and building. The central tower will be reduced in size slightly.

The Central Hall of Justice will probably fill the whole of that 400 x400 board including perimeter wall. :)

That is super awesome. An incredibly impressive model. I can't wait for these buildings to go live on your website.

Thanks very much :). There's more to come.

I really need to take a break from making new models and pull my finger out and get all the descriptions written and decent photos taken for the website.

Yes, yes you do :) It's hard for the casual visitor to know what you actually have for sale, what's coming soon, what's designed-but-superseded etc.

Love the tiles. Have you thought about transitions from city areas to open terrain? It might not be what others are aiming to do, but personally I would like to build a board with sections of built-up areas interspersed with open areas (rather than an entire dense city board). I would hope to be able to accomplish some open spaces with things like car parks, parkland, a parade ground etc but at some point I suspect I will need an "edge" to the city. At the moment I'm struggling for ideas of how to do that without it looking odd. Maybe destroyed walls or something.

haha! I think you will find one of these buildings will dominate my gaming room! I only have a 2foot by 3foot board! I was thinking of upgrading to a four foot by two foot board, but its a shame as I have never played on the first board!

Even bigger buildings well there seems to be no end to your plans for this range, you may need to get another cutter to keep up with demand once you go live with this lot.

You weren't meant to say anything! It would have been awesome in scale, and doubled up as a necromunda table!!!

Grud damn you! ;)

Hi!

Question for psypher.

While the buildings are made to accommodate the original 20mm square bases as in can they be made slightly larger to accommodate 25mm bases?

A lot of my projects are going to the larger base size, is Its important to know.
