Wondering if there is anything other than wild speculation on which primarchs have statues on Macragge? (other than Dorn and Guilliman)
My guess is they are of the 'dauntless few' So it's Dorn, Russ, Sanguinius and Ferrus Manus, those 4 were the legions held in highest esteem by Guilliman so it makes sense that his legion would follow suit
there even appears to be debate about whether it's 4 statues total (including G-man) or whether it's G-man plus 4 statues
I've only read a single HH novel and can't be bothered with the rest, but I'm hungry for background!

*shrug* I didn't especially know they had statues on Macragge, though it seems reasonable enough for some too. Where did the 4 number come from?
I can't be bothered to read the books either, I occasionally check out reviews/synopses for some HH books online and that generally reinforces me not wanting to. Though I'm curious to see what information about the lost second and eleventh legions comes from that new Sigillite audio.

I comb the lexicanum site for background info, I love the story and facts about it, not bothered about the 'fluffy' bits which is why I don't want to read the books, I also find having a general idea of what's going to happen (lorgar turns to chaos, corrupts horus... etc etc) kinda spoils them as stories for me

I imagine there'll be statues of all the loyal primarchs somewhere on Macragge, or are they meaning somewhere specific like the Fortress of Hera or Guilliman's shrine?

Only places I've seen such places described in detail is McNeill's Ultramarine books, will have a search.

"On Macragge, home of the Ultramarines, Dorn's statue is one of the four Primarchs that stand alongside Guilliman's in their Hall of Heroes." - from IA: IF
So there's five total. People who say otherwise are failing to understand a pretty basic sentence (and I say this because a bit of Googling turned up threads where people did precisely this in really annoying terms).
Presumably there's no Traitors. I'd guess Dorn, Vulkan, Khan and Sanguinius. Or Dorn, Russ, Khan and Sanguinius. The three from the Siege of Terra make sense, certainly.

Well, assuming the Siege of Terra guys are unequivocally such heroes they have to be included...
Vulkan: lived after the Heresy. Nice guy. Made cool things. The Salamanders IA suggests they're a very well-liked chapter, and describes them as stalwart. Didn't support the Codex reforms, but the reason has always seemed suspect (he didn't have enough Marines left for them to be split up).
Russ: Lived after the Heresy. Martially capable. And boisterous. Guiliman might like him (though I could also see him despising him).
Corax: Lived after the Heresy (but spent most of that time not doing much). Supported Guilliman's codex reforms. But his tactics are a bit sneaky.
Ferrus: Died at Istvaan, doing something moronic. No.
Jonson: Too standoffish.
So really, it's more Vulkan, Russ or Corax. I'd go Vulkan over Russ or Corax, personally.
