Everybody seems fixated on regular Guardians with Wraithguard (which sounds like a potential problem itself). Is anybody playing with Black Guardians and with what options and how are your results?

It's quite fun to see the look on an opponents face when "just Guardians" rip apart a large enemy formation.
The 1+ initiative and extra Farseer (usually replaced by a Seer Council) allows them to pack quite a punch.

I haven't played with or against them in a while, but the last time we did they worked well. So far, we tend to take larger formations to max out the initiative bonus on the most units possible - pretty much like Chroma said. The upgrades may be a touch expensive, but other than that they seem to be working.
