Post subject:  Eldar "Gravhead" (Gravtank) List
I have all these gravtanks that I'd like to field in a list, in addition to some fan-made sonic turrets, Lynx, and Warp Hunters that I'd like to include as well, so I've put together the following.

I'm aware Roboshadow has a Yme-loc list, but he hasn't logged in in over 2 years so I thought I'd grab the name as it fits fluff-wise. The core formations are 6 strong Falcons (upgradable to 9) and Engines of Vaul (except for Void Spinners). To that I added mechanized infantry or grav tank formations only (no foot sloggers) support formations.

Purists may raise eyebrows about the lynx (which is unique to Mymeara). However that can be handwaved away with the song being taught to bonesingers of other craftworlds nowadays.

I would suggest going ahead and including the void spinner as well. It may have been limited to Biel Tan in the original background, but in more recent background Biel Tan done got blowed up, so I say - let them have cake, er, Void Spinners.

Hey, that’s a Rending Hammer. :P

If your gonna use it, at least name it according to the VERBing/NOUN or ADJECTIVE/NOUN or OBJECT/POSSESSIVE NOUN naming convention.

The names I rejected before settling on Rending Hammer:
Doom Caller
Vaul’s Hammer
Wailing Spear
Roaring Wind
Rumbling Omen
Shadow Tremor

I always thought that FW was just lazy for naming all of their ‘original’ Eldar vehicles after animals. I mean, at least name it after an animal that is known for being loud.

I thought the weapon itself was named a Rending Hammer (that's why I followed suit there) but the vehicle was unnamed as of yet. We'll run a poll or something the next time I update the list.

I did google kestrel and came up only with a hornetish-sized double-scythed hull tank with a pulse laser.

Is the weapon not just a sonic cannon? Prosaic though it may be, not many of the weapons have funny names like 'wailing doom' and 'death spinner'. Some are just called pulse lasers :)
