without much words another batrep. Steel Legion vs. the alternativ Ulthwe List with highly adaptable Guardian Warhost and also featuring the new Baneblade.

Rough game for the Steel Legion! Thanks for the batrep. I know the new Baneblade totally failed to show its stuff but I bet this would still be appreciated in the Baneblade thread.

Yes well you know how it is. The AC is probably worried that a slightly improved Baneblade would shoot your dog and steal your wife, so evidence that it killed nothing and then bit it is just as valuable as anything else!

After this game the suggestion came up to compensate for the low unlock ratio of the Ulthwe list to add in the single revenant titan option for 350pts. Personally I like it. Very soft and expensive but stylish. What do you guys think?

Revenants should remain in pairs because of the twin-crew fluff.

Personally, I'd like to see the aspects moved back to 6 stands for 225. Regarding the low unlock ratio aspects are already a very restricted choice.

War Walkers - hey, they're manned by Guardians - could be made a bit cheaper. But that would be a general thing, not only concerning Ulthwé. 125 for 4 should be O.K., with the previous option to add up to 2 War Walkers for 25 pts. respectively.

By the way, I see no point in adding them to a Guardian Host, at least not for +100 pts.

One more thing to consider would be to bring the Exarchs back in line with the other Craftworld lists. While the amended version in the Ulthwé list is without doubt much better reflecting their fluff it seems a bit odd to have differing stats for one and the same unit. So if the Exarch stats in the other Craftworld lists won't change - which I think is a bit sad - there is no justification to have them upped within the Ulthwé.

Hi guys, it has been some time. Just got bumped by Norto. So I will rework the list according to the Excarch decision.

Warwalkers I cannot tackle alone without making them stand out differently again. But lemme think about it.
Aspect size back to six stands is actually not on my favorite list as that it was actually the one thing making you think about guardians even harder. Also with six you cannot squeeze 2 squads in a vampire raider anymore. I would not want to lose that option.

Revenants: while I agree to the fluff of pairs behind this could be amended by having to pick 2 singles. No one says Paris have to be within 15cm all the time as long as they are on the battlefield. Cost would stay at 350 per single
Also option to have a paired formation at reduced cost would remain in list.

Would batreps for games around ~1500 pts on a 3x4 board be of any use? Lately I play mostly minigeddon and up to 1500pt games due to space/time. I'm looking to use this list a bit.

Hi, i guess anything helps. But it should be balanced at 3000pts. Thing is, I do not know if it works at 1500 and if it does not it might still do at 3000. In any case, if you are willing to spend some effort in any form you are more than welcome to do so and i will for sure review. Also it helps to bring the interest up for others.

Armybuilder has been adapted. Unfortunately not correctly as the guardian vs jetbike exchange option should be 2:1 not 1:1 and some other minors.

Have a go and play around with exchange and upgrade option.

Please bear in mind, when taking a single revenant for 350 you need to buy a second one for 350. Both own formations then, if course.
