fan made scorpion turrets might be worth a try. If someone's willing to convert one and paint it up, someone might be willing to send them one :)

I've been mucking around with this idea again, and had a go at mocking it up using a press mold and greenstuff. I've hit a bit of an inpass though as I'm not sure how to mount the guns or where to get the guns from. Any ideas?

The second pic looks like it's lost some detail. This is mostly because when I was filing the greenstuff down I got some of the dust a bit wet and it's got stuck in the cracks. Not a great move on my part :-\

looks good! Do you have any other eldar tanks (falcons, Storm serpents or even vypers) that you could press mold the guns/ turrets of and use those? That's what I'd do.

I had a go but they're just too fine. In the end I went with trying to make my own which wasn't a great idea! I think forumware support weapons exist which might have been a better bet.

The finished models are in my blog here. They're not great but I think they do enough to show what I had in my head and perhapps tempt somebody to produce a better version.

This thread prompted me to actually register and try to post something.
Hope that it all works. More to follow once I get how to do images properly.

Most of my effort with EPIC Eldar have been to modify basic plastic models. My fluff idea is that the craftworld took lost of damage to its fabricator templates and that they have been forced to make do. The thinking behind this Hornet is an anti-grav component from support weapons, a couple of drives from a falcon (OK brasswork), night spinner turrets and some pulse cannons.

Realise that this does not look lots like the large scale 40K FW one but suits me.

I can't get to that thread, but am VERY interested (as I'm building a Yme-Loc host to match my 40k army). What do I need to do?
