A silly modelling question: how many lictors to a base? Strictly speaking it should be at least 3, but the stats somehow convey the impression that one is enough.

I model one per base, but that's because all mine were based before the list was released.

I figured that might have been the case. And unfair to force folks to rebase. Mine aren't painted yet, so strictly speaking I should have three per base, since they're inf? I have no real problem with that, just wanted to know what your intention was

I'm doing two per base. They're big models (comparatively speaking...), so it doesn't look sparse on the fairly small bases I use.

I did the same. When I started playing NetEA Tyranids, Lictors went back and forth between LV and INF, so it was a fair compromise. They are fairly big, so it is not really a problem (and could save you some eBay bucks).

A bit fiddly, but I thinked it worked out well, yes. After a while, you learned how to cut them up to get more interesting angles. Then I just added some tiny greenstuff tentacles to the face.

Does that mean that solo Lictors aren't legal for play? I think I have 14 of them done like that that I got second-hand...

For the euk list then yes , they are illegal. Sine in that list lictors are inf and would need 3 to a stand. However , i really dont think anyone will mind if you use only two, as i do, or just one as many people do

There's already an exception for Mounted infantry (2-4 to a base). That should really also apply to large infantry like battlesuits and lictors.

I mean, my OTC Battle Rigs barely fit two to a 40mm base!

As your lictors will spend about 5 sec's on the table it really doesn't matter :)

Seriously base them how you want to. Mine are singles and no-one has ever complained at any EpicUK event I've used them in... laughed maybe, but not complained.
