Hey;
a question, excuse if I missed this above:
Is the number of entries in a category limited/may I make more than one entry in a category?

Cheers for clarifying!

Should not be a reason not to try. A bit of fun and getting involved is how I started.

Pretty sure you can. I have multiple entries in one category this year, although you could be competing for votes against yourself :)

Going to try and post the categories tomorrow. If you've got some late entries, get them to me by tomorrow at 8AM EST.

Hm, only a few people entered.. Some of the guys regularly posting pictures in different topics are completely missing - but why? The best minis should appear here for a friendly competition, and the more people enter their work, the motivation is higher for others to participate/paint/play etc.. Sorry for being a bit disapponted.

Much of the reason is that we don't put forumware in the competition.

Well, understood this - i also use microwold, onslaught, etc. I paint some minis only as test/for the epicomp only!

Can't forumnware be used in the existing categories?

Was looking forward to seeing more entries too as I love seeing what people do. I planned my main entry after the end of last years competition. Planning to try and aim for a battleforce next year.

May even be tempted to pick up some other models from VG/DR/MG just to enter the other categories, although I got too many as it is.

It cannot, see the first post.

It's also been that way for many years, so I don't think it's the reason for the low entry count this year. Lack of advertising is likely the prime reason. I should have posted on other forums, it got away from me this year.

Ok, my bad interpretation of the meaning of forumware.

However I see where Vaaish is coming from as Epic is out of print. It gets harder and harder (or expensive) for people to be painting new models for entries without resorting to hand crafting them.

I'm hoping to enter a Tau Battleforce, so you can imagine how difficult that would be!

To clarify, scratch built models aren't really what I'm talking about. Mostly I'm referring to the oop stuff that was produced by fans over the years.

I also have a question, can I post entries with nin 6mm stuff? I meam using bigger vehicles for Epic.
It probably wont be a problem, but I want to make sure.
