Hi all,

Well I and the crew have been working to get this supplement up. So with me not been able to login for about 6 months and Rastamann in the same boat, it been long time in the pipe line so to speak…. But there’s light at the end of the tunnel.. ;D

Hi All,

Well it taken 12 months…but we have another one…

First off, I like to thank the following people…..

Britt Holtsclaw, Greg & Trent Knight and Laurie-Ann Knight, for their proof reading and play testing.

Nuno Castilho for all the photography, graphic design and page layout and Proof reading

Peter Laycock for allow his artwork to be used throughout the booklet and the front and back covers

‘Frosthammer’ for doing the Paramax short story in the supplement..

We have problem and that is that the tree campaign image on page 10 doesn't show up there and the table on page 18 is also messed up...For now, an ipad user has to open this not in ibooks, but in a pdf reader like acrobat, for instance…we are looking into it and when there is a fix we will get up..

I know Nuno was still looking at the viewing issue with the Ipad and he needs to add bookmarks to the pdf, I believe, too.

Plus it will allow time for people to read and spot any other grammar we may have missed..and drop it in here and we get it fixed before we go to the netea website.. :)

Unsolicited notes:

Page a has a picture of a destroyed Rag tank but the caption is the one from page 2 on the "Ill met by moonlight" supplement. I think you forgot to tweak that.

pages 5-6 perhaps make a more clear mention of the Planetary Empires hex campaign models? Say what you want about GW's support of Epic, those are a great product. You've got the picture of Oynx's tiles but don't really note what they are.

page 9 with the node map concept might benefit about using publicly available high resolution satelite photos for creating the landmasses. there's some really awesome stuff at NASA and the ESA websites.

page 10, when you mention other external books you should include a title or other information to assist locating them. It is not uncommon for stuff like this to spread copies through out the internet and shouldn't be assumed they located this at the NetEA website. This is followed on the subsequent page text so i'd introduce those other books earlier or add a page early on outlining additional referenced texts (NetEA tounament pack, Scenario books 1 and 2, Swordwind, etc)

page 13 shows naval forces but the caption is about Ultras

pages 15,19,24... you're really going to run head long into violating known cannon with the Paramar story line. Probably best to alter it to be a different planet and segmentum. The IW 77th great company was utterly defeated and destroyed by the Alpha Legion in the 1st Battle of Paramar and I should note, they were loyalists having been pushing the crusade out into the halo stars and out of any meaningful contact with the Legion for decades. Also as Ferris Manus died so early on in the Heresy, basically at the very start, his involvement in the actual war was pretty much limited to the Dropsite Massacre and didn't have anything really to do with the bulk of the HH. I don't think you're going to win over people rewriting a story line from the actual company itself.

You could alter to be the mentioned though undocumented 2nd Battle of Paramar but I fear that you'll once again run straight into cannon conflicts if they ever flesh it out. When the official story line is X, fan-content realllllly should avoid rewriting it, no offense to Frosthammer.

Also I'm absolutely certain there's sections of unaltered text straight taken from the FW books which is going to open us up for legal action. I don't have the books on hand at this very moment to confirm what and where (I could later today if wanted) but it's something to review.

An interesting idea would be to rewrite it in the form of an unreliable narrator instead of the omniscient one as is now and spin it as them thinking it was the IH and Ferrus himself and then flip the script at the end to show it really was a case of The Alpha Legion Did It TM which while perhaps overused, is still a favorite of fandom.

They may be great product, and it will be tweak in the text below to say want they are..

Thank you, the idea was to show want could be done in couple of min's, so simple one.. and If I had draw it and scan it in?.. I wont disagree that there is really awesome stuff out there to use for landmasses..

When I start writing this, I kept away from doing that, since wants to stop players using WW2 stuff for campaigns set in the epic universe..I going out on limb here and say Napoleonic time frame(goal of my and one that should doable). I want people to use their own initiative and not be directed to set text or sources etc..

It's never bother me..I guess I'm not a fluff bunny, but will have it tweaked..

Thanks for the feed and taking the time respond..

I have added the link back... :)

After looking into this, there was some unaltered text in the short story and I believe it to be an honest mistake and nothing more, after talking to Frosthammer on the matter. The short story was rewritten and tidy up, So sorry for delay, since we had to proof read the story etc..

We still have the IPad issue…
