I often put a unit with a higher armour rating at the front of the formation, to take the first few 5's or 6's, which means less hits flow through to the rest of the formation.

In theory, this means hits are distributed, and no stands will take enough hits to be removed, rather than a vulnerable stand at the front taking all the hits and being removed from play.

Ok, that's something you might want to have in some sort of example, as unless i'm being pretty dense it probably needs explaining in a bit more detail than is in the rulebook at the moment ;)

Oh, and in terms of list building, wouldn't it be simpler to effectively just say 'you have to take 3 main centuries and a hq choice, and after that basically go with whatever you fancy' - again, i may be reading it wrong :)

Cheers Richard, yes it needs more detail. But please remember this is a quick get you by rulebook. We have lots more to do. This was originally a 2 page document that we pushed to cover a bit more background on to give a flavour. We are continuing to look at Army selection and clearer rules and diagrams but that will take a little more time to get together.

Please any more questions chuck them out. The questions highlight a lot of areas where we need to focus our explainations

I am assuming due to the small scale you are all gluing turrets to hulls. However, anyone had a go at using neo-magnets, would be rather 8)

Quick question on basing is the Cohort HA on 40 x 40 or 40 by 60?

I am using magnets under some models to allow me to swop between mech and non-mech infantry.

At the moment you can only purchase Affray Siege and Forefront Elite units in the Command Support pack. Will they eventually be available separately as I would like to use a few of these units?

Plan is to test for Siege and Forefront centuries. Stalkers first though.

I have several more packs to release once castings are available these will include variant mechanised centuries amongst others.

Stalkers from the cybershadows faction will be coming soon these will act as allied contingents and also as an army in it's own right, this faction will see expansion with other ground forces during the new year.

Novan regulars will be joining the fight too as soon as possible.

Yes mate the CS army will see supporting ground forces in the form of infantry and vehicles.
