Yeah that's kinda the point. At arms length or so it's hard to tell the shapes apart. If you change then over all silhouette by shoulder mounting the weapon and/or backpack will handle that nicely. 2 cents

@moredakka So there is! I should have waited for the pictures to load before I posted!

I see the battery, @E&C! But I think @Jimmy has a point about the silhouettes: are the spikes and ammo barrel enough to set them apart at distance?

The battery backpack might do enough to make them different, but maybe it's worth trying the shoulder-mounted lascannon, too? It's just a pity the hip-mount looks so cool....

I think if you saw the physical model, the difference in the way the light hits the battery versus the autocannon mag would be clear. But if it's a concern to John I can change it... we went for hip slung heavy guns to make them look a bit more "wild" in how their carriers might not be aiming to avoid collateral damage much of the time...

Hi some quick suggestions.
How about a blade on the gun someplace?
Or spiked barrels?
Could the spikes on the upper carapace be moved back 0.5mm to center them better with the middle of the shoulder pads if looking at it from the sides?

Could you put an Arrow pointing up from the sole of the boot on the toes? (Nm too small to see)
Could you make a head with horns coming out of the ears instead of the faceplate? That frame the helmet.

Me neither. The thing that got me out of making a CSM army was the too big, too numerous and omnipresent spikes on all the vehicles: when using an style, overwhelm the design with one of the parts that defines the style is not good and that's where GW's failed, in my opinion.

So how about choosing between the horns and the spikes but not both, keep the horns on the shoulders but get rid of those spikes on top, or leave this one as it is as the unit's sergeant and lower the number of spikes/horns/fangs on the others? I don't think that losing some of those will make them less appealing and coherent to those that want to expand their GW miniatures range.

The rest is good. Keep them coming!

Maybe remove sholder spikes leaving only 3 top ones and horns?

Thanks for the feedback guys we shall take another pass at this one, note that both the spikes and the horns can be easily snipped off if you don't like either or.

I need skulls though how about no spikes on top and a evil skull design or a wheel on the upper carapace
