Really liking the 15mm stuff!

I've decided to start playing 40K again, only this time in 15mm. Makes it way easier to managea game when you only need 60x90cm for a gaming board.
Will be using both 8th edition rules and the "Beyond the gates of 40K" mashup (you can find it in the proposed rules section of the Dakkadakkaforum).

Alot of friends I've showed them to really likes the idea of a "pocket40k". So please keep in bringing out 15mm versions! I will buy them all! :-)

Thanks for the thumbs up on the 15's. :-)

My next releases for the 15's will be something like:

- A Novan Regulars Tank (resin) - already sculpted
- A Novan Regulars IFV (resin) - already sculpted
- A Novan Regulars Character Set - 75% sculpted
- A Skinners Character set - not yet started
- A Skinners modular truck - not yet started

Not sure what to do next for the Novan Elites... a resin APC maybe, if the Regulars tanks sell well?

Entomorphs are somewhat on hold right now, as initial sales haven't been strong enough to support further kits, yet. I'd like to do leaders and "tank" class bugs for them (usable in 6mm as super-heavies too?), but that depends on the initial kits selling enough to be worth ordering at least one restock.

Oh, and plastic terrain. Mustn't forget that. How silly of me.

I was only going to ask if the Novan Tanks might one day make it to 15mm - some peeps locally are thinking about Gruntz in 15. Might convince me to dive in if there was a 15mm Battlemaster... :-)

And yeah, looking forward to the plastic terrain.

Sounds great! Painting up the Skinners and Novan elites right now (bought everything released for them). And after that I'm on to Novan regulars. REALLY looking forward to tanks!! Also Skinner characters would be very usefull.

Yeah, thats a hard one. An APC with the possibility of adding extra firepower for the cost of some interior space would be great. Thoose kind of APC:s are very popular in 8th edition.
How about less armoured, more sneaky Novan elites?

Hopefully the sales of theese will take off. This is my favourite army and I'm planning to build one in 15mm too with theese figures.

What about some 15mm jetbikes for the Elites?

Post subject:  Re: New releases

I'd love to see some of my vehicles and figures for that matter in 15mm you guys need to persuade ben to do them for me.

A 15mm battlemaster would be a big model but managable in resin easy enough and yes my jetbike was the first model I planned to upscale as the smallest vehicle I do for the elites.

You guys must put together a list of which novan elite vehicles you'd most like to see in 15mm scale and i'd look at getting them done as funds permit.

Cheers

Is the plastic terrain going to be 15mm only, or will there be 6mm plastic terrain too? Or have I missed some plastic 6mm that you've done before?

Post subject:  Re: New releases

The terrain comes in a single scale, but could be used for both 6mm or 15mm. In 15mm they're just conventional buildings, in 6mm they become gigantic city blocks. :)
