I thought it handy to have a bit of a 'separate' WIP thread for the stuff I've been creating for Vanguard Miniatures. That way I can sort of keep it focussed and also get a bit more direct feedback on what kinda models would be preferred over others. So yeah, lets start with the status update. Note that this will be changed regularly as certain models end up being finished and what not. Finished: Novan Regulars:

Wow! Level of detail is amazing. Thanks for posting. My armourer from 5th Silesian Armoured Cavalry Division will be definitely considering to acquire them for their artillery battalion. Enclosed version could be useful too. |

An enclosed version is certainly in line for designing. I just need to figure out if I'd then still use the guns designed by War Terrier, and then build an armoured shell around the whole thing. Or create a totally enclosed casing, thus also creating 'new' versions of the guns. |

Hmm, IMHO a lot simpler would be to design the enclosed version from scratch. |

There's a new entry in the (very early) WIP section. Basically a shock-assault robot. Armed with two close combat weapons and a heavy gun on its back. The machine still needs a whole lot of work. The model currently stands at about 12.5mm tall

Nice "robot" but I'm afraid I've already seen it somewhere... The hydraulic pistons on the legs are too thin though - I'm sure it won't keep the weight of the model. The central piece (the four barrelled thingy) is weird. |

Looks great so far. What do you plan on adding to it? I could definitely see them being useful |

@Brother_Bethor: Hence my remark "very early WIP". The power plant is weird, I will most likely remove it. As for the legs, at the moment they are just a basic shape, they need to be fleshed out. @LeCacty: Any suggestions on what I should add to it? In the meantime, I've started working on a hunter-killer robot designed to hunt down mutants and rogue machines. I felt it should be aesthetically not too far away from the shock-assault robot, hence a similar leg design. The machine still needs a back carapace mounted weapon. Still need to ponder a bit how to do its close combat weapons. Attachment:

Personally, i'd like put a bit of asymmetry in there. Also not entirely sure about the "heads". But nice start. Sent from my mobile using Tapatalk |

I feel what you mean, at first I thought it would be nice for the shock-assault automata to have its gun on the middle of its back, but it feels a bit lacking. As for the heads, they're tricky. I'm not sold on them yet either. I'm digging the idea of the multiple eyes though. Can't help but think of the Sentinels from the Matrix. |

I think the legs are a bit thin, but you've addressed that I think. Perhaps a few version with different weapons, and maybe some trim and rivets to make it less flat? |
