Not sure I could get away with selling a heated metal war god mini.

Think i'd like to create several packs for the specialists for this faction.

Hmm, you could of course take the idea of an incarnation of the war god and play with it differently. Note that the undead Star Gods who've been turned into shards are (conceptwise) sort of similar but aren't immediately made from molten metal. You could always go for something more etherial/psychic in nature.

I would love to see some 'robo-ghost-defenders' ...is that the light combat walkers above?

All these are good suggestions but really with this faction we need to have several sets to cover the range of troop types you suggest.

I'm thinking a specialist set should have what would be regular troop leaders such as man-witches, long-lookers and maybe some specialist weapons troops and also a recon team. Basically your citizen soldier command and support units.

All the other suggestions should be released as various elites packs during the future.

Suggestions please for what to have and in what ratios for this specialist command and support pack.

those were suggestions of the models I'd like to see, I appreciate design and manufacturing costs limit the numbers you can realistically release at a time

a command pack wishlist for me would have longlookers/man-witches, recon snipers and possibly 'bodyguard drones' (

a support pack wishlist would probably include heavy weapon platforms, ghost-guardian robots, and skimmer recon bikes

Challenge for the Eloi is not just the varitey people would like to see but the relative quantities of each that people will be after will be limited. Hate to say but its a double wammy of increased costs and relative low sales (when compared to the Novans and Novan elites for example). I can see that it may take a while to recoup the costs of bringing these to production, and therefore carries more inherent risk.

I would love to see multi-pose - I think realistically 5 would be as far as you could go for each type.

Would people be prepared to recognise the low returns on these and be prepared to pay more for them as a result? I am guessing some would and some would not.

I'd pay a few quid extra per pack if some *good* ghost-guard models in a variety of poses were produced

ghost guards would interest me as well, as long as they scaled sensibly with already owned minis. (not that interested in other specialists aside from scouts and command long lookers n mages)

Why is this specifically an Eloi problem? Army/race specifics seem irrelevant. I think like this for all offerings, regardless of the armies I intend to proxy. Other things would be a lot more important. For instance, in my view, if you entertain notions of the misnomer 'truescale', you are most likely taking a huge risk, since I often find the aesthetics of combining such minis with my "installed base" of minis severely lacking. And not exactly qualifying for the "young-and-promising" any more, my life is filled with lots and lots of things other than minipainting, so completely new bulk-purchasing will be a rare occurrence.

Edit: I just realized you were referring specifically to the infantry problem. Which is true, I suppose. So skip the infantry and start designing some juicy superduperbig floating tanks with optional exotic cannons or dimensional portal capability!

Perhaps an Eloi gargantuan Battle Walker range. They can even have Mystic command gargantuan walkers and scout gargantuan walkers.

The Eloi are quite tricky in this regard. I mean, with the Novan Regulars/Elites you've got a faction that will pretty much sell no matter what. Not only because a lot of people play these factions, but also that they're more or less fully supplied factions. In other words, you can either get the original models or proxies relatively easily. The Eloi are trickier in that regard because they have a very specific aesthetic meaning that proxies aren't that easy to come by. What this means is that there are still a lot of gaps that would need to be filled up before players could really go for a complete Eloi army. That in itself doesn't make this an attractive faction to invest in as a player.

It's kind of a catch 22: it's quite risky to produce a full range because you don't know if they'll sell enough, but people might not be inclined to start with the Eloi because there isn't a full range.

How many of these specialists do people actually use? Maybe you could catch most users with only half of the options?

It's not so much an infantry problem as a vehicle one. In order to create a viable army for EA for example we need to have a reasonable selection of vehicles which will need to be created from scratch and be IP safe which for this faction would be most difficult to achieve.

Until a IP safe vehicle style can be figured out we are a bit scuppered on how to proceed.
