Oh wait, so you work with an external guy to do the designs, or are you yourself doing the designs? (not fully clear here)

@ Doomkitten, no worries we all like what we like, yes.

@ malika2, Ben Skinner who did all the original DiD range designs has been hired to do these for me, I wouldn't have a clue how to do this kind of thing.

I would just like to say that the Marksman SHT Company I received this morning is absolutely gorgeous!

So just a quick thank you for such stunning tanks and such quick service.

Youll definitely see some more orders from me once I'm done abusing them with my attempts at applying paint. Cheers dude

Thank you for your custom and praise and I hope you enjoy painting your new tanks.

Well, with that new head, now we are cooking with charcoal. Looks meaner, and is an excellent base for customisation. I'll definitely be taking on off your hands when you get it in.

That is all.

By the way, I was just randomly wondering here, but will the background of Defeat in Detail be expanded?

I've been waiting for someone to ask that question, short answer is no.

Longer answer is that I personally do not have the time or real interest in developing this background further myself i've too many other gaming universes i'm already invested in but i'd be happy to see someone else flesh it out if they so inclined. Although new models will be developed with the existing races in mind I have no plans to further the background and have no idea what if any future developments for the races or history Troublemaker had in mind.

So I guess it's up to the players such as yourself to stear this if you so choose. I own the IP but don't mind others messing around in the DiD universe.

Not the answer you expected i'm sure but my gaming time is pretty much zero as it stands so if I do game it will probably be in my favourite 30/40K universe setting.

Regards

Here's a picture of my recently completed Dreadnought Stalker. Really enjoyed painting this one, looking forward to getting some smaller Jackals to go with it once they're out! As moredakka has mentioned for his new Jackal stalker design, I had to adjust the pistons at the back of the foot to make the slight adjustments to his stance as I've assembled it with the knees reversed in a stepping forward position which wasn't too hard to achieve. Enjoy!

I like it! Really nice painting especially. The leg placement is a bit odd, but whatever floats your boat! ;D

I'm kinda digging the legs like that, really reminds me of the Zentraedi Battle Pod from Robotech.

From a physics standpoint it would be impractical to mount such a massive weight in the back end. The torque generated would put unnecesary stress on the joint. A connection close to the mass center is much more pract.... ohhh I forgot, scifi ;-)
