The elites fighter I was expecting this to be bigger, should I get it upscaled.

IMHO upscaling of Spicullum isn't necessary. The fighter could use anti-grav technology so big wings aren't that much needed. The F-104 Starfighter, which didn't have big wingspan either, was used primarily as an interceptor and this model could well represent something similar. BTW it is great excuse to design another heavy fighter. ;)

Yes indeed it is an excuse for sure.

The fighter at this size has been well received on facebook so wil now be re-purposed as an elites interceptor instead.

Heavy fighter to follow one day.

Keep in mind that this interceptor is about the same size as its forumware counterpart. As for the heavy fighter, I'd love to design one, but then I'd need to have a better picture of its weapons layout since it would probably have to proxy for something existing.

Gotta say, seeing it painted* has convinced me a lot more. Would like to see it in the metal.

*And a Beautiful paint job at that!

Just finished cleaning and gluing the next Mauler detachment. I've gone for a long range firepower with quad laser sponsons, and missile system with radar. I'll be leaving the additional armour off these for contrast against the first Mauler detachment.
