Okie dokie, more news from the front.

We reached the character limit on Kickstarter, so John's had a play with it and made it all a lot simpler for you guys.

We're proud to introduce our 2 player starter sets!

We are also offering all our models as single bases for those of you that are more interested in painting and collecting than gaming.

We've also unlocked the template set too.

So then some advice please, i've been following this funder and have been considering putting a pledge in. Nothing huge just to give some support and acquire some of the infantry which I hope to use as proxies for my various epic projects.

Not really looking to get into the game as such but i'm always interested in new rules sets and useful alternative models so i'm looking at getting the book and some figures.

So what's best for me, pledge for the two player starter set and then add funds to buy some of the various single stands so I can get hold of as many different infantry figs and maybe robot types things as possible or is there a better option for me.

Any advice appreciated cheers.

Oh and retail will you be selling and supporting the game from an online store in the future. Also trade sales will you be putting your products into other gaming outlets?

A level 2 pledge comes with a free printed rule book, you can then select £48 worth of product, each 4 platoons will give you a free captain. So you could grab 16 infantry stands of your choice with a level 2 pledge. Saurian Riders just got unlocked and would make great rough riders, they come in at 6 models per stand and £3 per stand. With rough riders being 32 stands, 64 models (2nd edition), £33 for rough rider company riding cool dinosaurs.

I think you just select the £1 pledge a pound then write £12 for the book

Actually you can get the book seperate now as most things can be bought individually.

Yes dakka, you could just put a £1 pledge on and add the value of the products you want to buy, if for example you want a rule book and 10 saurian stands just make you pledged amount £42.

Much appreciate all the work there SquiggleAmp, outstanding!
@moredakka yes we will be supply retail once we have shipped all our backer orders, and we will be supporting the line too with online components- a campaign is on the table at the moment, as well as new releases. Feel free to email me directly john@myriadminiatures.com all the best.

OK,

So the two player sets indicate that they give the printed rule book for free. So it seems that if you go for the single player set you don't get the printed rules for free, but you get a tank for free at 48quid.

Interesting. I think I'm going to stick with choosing my models and paying extra for the rules, but I did find that a little unusual(not bad, just unusual that the free things are so different).

Hey bertnernie,
That's it, the fact is the tanks cost as much to make as it does to print a book, in fact slighty more, we are just trying to create as many options as possible to fit different requirements, its never perfect :(
Hope that doesn't put you off.
