Taking the scope of the gatling and adding a toploaded ammothingy might look cool and differentiate it a bit more from the laser?

Also - Armed forces of both sexes would be cool. No need to add huge boobs, slightly more feminine faces and longer hair should do it?

Looking really good, though I thought that was more a sighting scope rather than a targetting one. Thinking that it looks very promising.

I may do two support units - anti-armor, and anti-infantry...

Next uniform may be a bit, but it will be one of three - fur-hatted cossack style honor guard, pith-helmet honor guard, or standard military uniforms.

Will there be cavalry in some form? Maybe bikes or small walkers?

So the idea is that the Terran Federation is made up of a council of 13 dukal houses. Each house is an ancient family line, immensely powerful and wealthy, and giants of industry, banking, manufacturing, etc.

There are many houses in existence, both great and small, and every year, the house who has served on the council the longest is removed, and a vote is taken to induct a new house into the council. Houses must spend at least one year off the council once removed - but in general, you see 7 great houses that have a near constant presence, with lesser houses making appearances from time to time via great political intrigue.

Each house has it's own honor guard, with their own style of dress and traditions, often dating way back to old Earth. While often not practical - it is considered a great honor to inducted into the honor guard of your house. The vast majority of Federation troops belong to the rank and file Federation regiments - which are made up of Terrans from all ranks of life - normal citizens and house members alike are required to serve in the Federation army, while only members of houses can be promoted into the ranks of their respective houses honor guard.

So the Terran Federation forces will consist of the following:

Terran Federation Military - This is the vast bulk of the Terran forces. They have access to all the modern weaponry, wear practical military uniforms, have access to walkers, bikes, tanks, etc. These guys are the bread and butter of the Terran forces.

Honor Guards - These guys are battle hardened veterans who also belong to a lesser or greater house, and have been promoted to their houses honor guard regiments. While fully capable fighters, their appearance takes on a ceremonial role - promoting the greatness of their respective houses. Honor Guard units are generally restricted to infantry and support squads, command, some sort of cav unit, and sometimes a specialty squad of some sort which is associated only to the house in question.
