I've been working on variants of the Tyr - an interceptor with missile racks, and a close support version with fusion cannons and rockets - thoughts? The Trio: |

Not sure they would be sufficiently distinctive at 6mm scale. |

Silly stuff. I like them! Agree that the loadouts may require an attentive paintjob to be discernable at the scale of the finished product. |

Hi here is another idea; make a cargo version with 4 fans and a cargo box in the middle like this mechwarrior model. You can keep everything looking the same just extend it. The Gruds are miners so how would they get their ore out of the mine to a space ship? or get supplies planetside? The cargo carrier would do that nicely. In wartime it could be converted to a troop carrier and drop infantry / vehicles off like a thunderhawk. Attachment: Attachment: Cheers I wouldn't give it ground attack guns due to its poor armor (it needs the carry capacity) but maybe some small turrets like a ww2 bomber |

Hi another idea / use for a cargo hauler would be to drop off a small armoured bunker with heavyweapons grudd infantry inside. An instant forward firebase. Drop it on top of a mountain and instant air cover. Cool eh? |

Gyrocopter-deployed Thunderfire analogy? Transformers, Epic and bearded space miners in one package... That could be a winner. |

Quote: Hi another idea / use for a cargo hauler would be to drop off a small armoured bunker with heavyweapons grudd infantry inside. An instant forward firebase. Drop it on top of a mountain and instant air cover. Cool eh? Indeed it is - And I also endorse that as part of a "Gruddlifter" design. I think the weapons on the two 'chopper' versions are less than distinct - simply cured by extending the barrels of the plasma guns in the one case though. |
