Work continues!

I've decided to do two versions - an open topped transport with optional dozer blade and small turret (still working on those.) And a heavier enclosed version with heavier weapons.

Thoughts?

Wasn't convinced by the initial image, but you are winning me round. Something not quite right about the plain area beneath the driver's vision slit. Just needs a bit of detail imho, just not sure what... Design makes it look like it should have a radiator grille there, but thats obviously not right.

Otherwise its looking really good.

for an open topped version, I was thinking making the back look more dump-truck like, possibly with firing slits put in the walls.

Me too - there will be firing slits in the back on the more heavily armored version.

Here's a shot with the optional turret:

I'm looking at it some more, and the whole thing is looking kinda front heavy to me. Obviously, a big part of that is that its an open topped transport, so the back a a big empty space, but can you do anything to bulk up the back just a little. Raise the sides of the compartment, something?

It seems especially noticeable on the version with the rock grinder on the front.

Thanks for feedback - I agree that the drilling rig throws the balance off on this one, and will look much better on the heavier version coming up (it will be included as an optional attachment for those who prefer it on). But without it, I think it's solid - I made sure the crew cab it directly over the front axle - though maybe from the side the fender is making it look too front heavy? Let's see what you think of the heavier version coming up...
