I don't like the dump-truck look. I just don't. It's the one thing out of your entire line that kills my interest. This is just my opinion, of course...if they're supposed to have given tech to (most) humans, shouldn't look a bit more advanced than this? I know the background behind the grudd, and I like it, but the aesthetics aren't doing it for me. And, I am sorry deacon, the grudd won't be miniatures I end up spending money on unless something is changed. No disrespect, just being honest, you have amazing talents and overall Onslaught is a great thing.

No offense taken brother! They all can't be zingers for everyone. I have some more designs coming down the pipe - but the "advanced but industrial" look will define this particular race.

I don't get a dump truck look from this iteration at all. Currently it looks more like a bulked up pick up truck. To be dump truck-y it would need taller walls on the side of the crew compartment.

Hey! That's great man! But I do.

Okay. To me...and just my opinion...it looks like a dump truck. Forward cab, open-box bed. Large tires. It checks every box for a dump truck.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it looking like a dump truck. Deacon made his decision, and it stands. People will buy them. They will be painted and played in games. There will be happy times. I just don't like my advanced space-dwarf-troll-things to be driving dump trucks.

Fortunately, I'm not the boss of deacon and he can make it the way he wants to; he's quite the bad-ass when it comes to his Onslaught universe, after all. ;D

I like the truck but I won't use it for the short humans, more likely it will see use in my alien hybrid army!

The thought did cross my mind too :) or alternatively it would make an excellent unordered rabble transport

Here's the far heavier Jörd APC:

Next to the Balder:

Next to the Juno - Which was adapted from the Jörd by the Sisterhood:Image

Thoughts?

Taken in isolation I think it's a great looking vehicle, but I don't like it as a Grudd vehicle. IMO it looks too different from the Balder and too much like the Juno (even though I do see that the main chassis is based on the Balder, too much of the aesthetic is conveyed by the tread pods). I know you've created an in universe reason for it to look like the Juno, but that doesn't change the fact that it looks more like a sisterhood tank than anything else.

Great feedback - let me play with the design a bit later.

Worked more on the Jörd, to bring it further away from the Sisterhood Juno look - but not too much...

Here it is next to the first version:

And the Balder, Jörd, and Juno lined up for comparison:

Which one do you guys like best?
