The Talos Syndicate has the market cornered on walker technology among the Terrans, being the only group to successfully replicate the OTC gyroscopic technology on such a large scale, though still nowhere near as advanced. The great houses and sisterhood "rent" Talos walkers and their pilots for now - but would love to get their hands on the syndicates secrets.

In the Onslaught universe, the Terran factions are way behind the curve when it comes to technology, and lack even artificial gravity or ftl travel. The great houses exist because they each have a monopoly on some sort of vital technology be it hyper drives or food replicators. They constantly scheme and back stab one another in order to gain an edge over the others, and the Talos Syndicate has just entered the ring so to speak.

All of their units will be some sort of walker, be it heavily armed personal powered armor, all the way up to gigantic war walkers the size of buildings...
