about the render in the middle, is it possible to make the jump more "froggy"?

both feet stretched when in the air. legs bend open to the outside together when preparing to jump. instead of bending to the front, one leg at a time like human knees.

i hope you can understand a little what I'm asking...

I gotcha - these are just pose studies - to make sure the model can be posed without too many issues. When I really get the models together I will keep that in mind.

The idea behind the weapon is that it "fires" a beam of temporal energy - which "warps" what it passes through a fraction of a second into the past. While it has little effect on stationary or slowly moving targets, it has dramatic effects on anything that is moving quickly.

A charging enemy will suddenly find a circular plug bore straight though their mass - giving them just enough time to see a quivering chunk of themselves a few paces behind them before collapsing.

In close combat, the temporal effect can be focused into a continuous "field" around the head of the weapon which produces the same time-warping effect on anything it passes through.

The effect of the weapon depends on the speed of its target rather than brute power or the targets armor.

Without the powerful influence of a nearby Elder - these weapons become little more than ornate clubs until they are recharged with temporal energies.

Very cool ! I see staff weapons like that similar to the staff weapon the Jaffa use in Stargate. I used some 15mm Jaffa for Statues ... but you get the idea ... Image

Hey guys - I modeled up some helmets based on my concept sketch. What do you think? Should the normal troopers have them, only commanders, none, etc - what are your thoughts?

Elite troops perhaps? Like light armor for the normal guys and helmets and "time warp shields" for the elite?

Hi Dom,
The models themselves are looking really good, but I'm not sold on the staff. I think it needs a shooty bit at the end. Currently they look like fantasy clubs, an I can't see these guys bring a club to a nuke fight.

I'm a helmets on type of guy. So I vote on.
