Hi,

I'm not familiar with Knights and I played against them which caused some confusion. If anyone could clear up a few points I'd be very grateful.

1) The Fixed Save applies to the front 90 degree arc of Knights so obviously the TSM will only affect the save for shots to the side and rear. Would the usual modifiers for hitting an enemy with side and rear shots also apply?

2) If a Knight fails it's save is it automatically destroyed? It doesn't benefit from the Superheavy damage tables, does it?

Assuming you are talking about Imperial Knights...

1) yes and yes.

2) Not sure. For the Points Formula values, I do have Imperial Knights having the modifier (to Save value) for being a Super Heavy applied to them, so obviously the thought when I first set that was that they did. But just above, primarch says that they do not. Why would they not have it?

I've been rather discontent with them not having them and have added that in my own games to good effect.

Perhaps they should use the super heavy table.
