We are a couple of Danes that are considering flying to Paris for the next event (but nothing set in stone). Do you have the official rules for the event (the last one) somewhere?

One specific thing I am thinking of is if units with an asterix (*) are allowed. Those are the units that need both players consent in some of the old armylists like IG, eldar, orcs etc. But as some of the codex used such as Tau, necron and exodite codex is an alternative that need consent for the entire codex (did not exsist under 2nd edition) I kinda assume that is ok with those units?

Volcano In Paris will happen this year Expected date is first november week-end (5&6 November 2016).

Inscription document & rules are 95% completed, just need to double-check with the shop where we'll play for midday lunch prices.

I confirm you that units with an asterix are allowed as well as Tau, Necron (Kotrin Codex v2.0.1 only, not the Slaan Codex), Exodites, Savage Orks codex, Dark Eldars...

Prohibited cards are special cards consisting of 3 titans (Bio-Titan Broods, Big Gargant Mobs, Doom Anvil Squadron, Phantom Titan Hosts), Imperator/Warmonger Titan, Mega-Gargant. Also "own reactor plasma weapons" from netepic correction document are not allowed.

3500 points army lists, no ally allowed (only force from middle column in Building army codex tables, so only 1 divinity for Chaos Army), with minor restrictions/modifications:
- Arlequins (25% max) only allowed for standard Eldar army list
- Required minions cards for greater daemon/primarch must come from divinity army list (no Rhinos to fill those slots)
- When middle column consist of multiple "Lists" (Chaos for example), support/special cards from other list must be assigned to a company card from this list (for example, a DeathWheel special can only be assigned to a company card from Standard Chaos List). Transports from "secondary" list can not transport troops from another list (no Eldar Dark Reapers in Arlequin venoms)
- Max 1 master mime card per Eldar army
- Dedicated flying/tunneling/deep striking transport units can not start the battle with no embarked troops (we don't want them to be picked and used during whole battle as cheap bombers/meteor strikes).
- No duplicate close combat weapons (or giving same close combat bonus) on Titans. No 2xChain Fists on Reaver but 1 Chain Fist + 1 Power Fist configuration is allowed.

I think it is very nice that you have planned well in advance, makes it much more likely to gather more participants as it is possible to plan according to the tournament.
