Should be an easy question for NetEpic gurus here

For example, in the Adeptus Mechanicus Rule Book, if I want to build a Titan Legion, I have to place at least 75% of my points in "Titan Legions & Standard Adeptus Mechanicus Lists".

Does this mean I can pick a Reaver Battle Group as a company card and add up to 5 support cards from both Titan Legion list and Standard Adeptus Mechanicus ?

List 1):
Company: Reaver Battle Group (TL List)
Support #1: Mechanized Tactical Platoon (from Adeptus Mechanicus List)
Support #2: Hydra Squadron (from Adeptus Mechanicus List)

Or do I have to pick an Adeptus Mechanicus Company Card to pick those support Cards ?:

List 2):
Company: Reaver Battle Group (TL list)
+
Company: Tech-Guard Titan Defense Company (AM List)
Support #1: Mechanized Tactical Platoon (from AM List)
Support #2: Hydra Squadron (from AM List)

I'm pretty sure 2) is legal, but I'm not sure 1) is OK.

Weirdly I was looking into this just last night, I came to the conclusion that your 1) would be okay. After all, it would be like me taking my Dark Angels codex list and not being allowed to add a Dreadnought detachment to a Deathwing company card, which would be a bit odd.

In fact, it would mean not being allowed to buy teleporters for Deathwing terminators as that's a Special Card from the standard list, not the codex list.

Think 1 is okay. I had a similar question regarding the different lists in the Chaos book if I wanted to take a power based list.
The Gold rulebook only makes reference to specific formations supporting a unit of that army when using allies (i.e. no eldar support cards for a space marine company card).

I see no problem with your army build. Some don't like titan company cards, but they exist for a reason, such as illustrated by scream's original post and question.

In a nut shell, its a legal build as far as I can tell.

If List 1) is OK (mix AM & TL cards), here is another list example that might cross the line, still following the Titan Legions list creation (75% in TL and AM):

Company: Tech-Guard Titan Defense Company (AM List)
Support: Warhound (TL List)
Support: Warhound (TL List)
Support: Warhound (TL List)
Support: Warhound (TL List)
Support: Warhound (TL List)
Special: Warhound (AM List)

Company: Warlord Battle Group (TL List)
Special: Ordinatus Golgotha (AM List)

I suppose that you see the problem: according to the Titan Legions: "75% in Titan Legion and Adeptus Mechanicus Lists", I can mix support and special cards and cancel any restrictions on list creation...

I still think that's okay.
