I'm happy to field any and all questions you have! Primarch
Excellent! Here's one then... The original Space Marine had varying scenarios (though I can't recall the names of any of them). With Space Marine 2, these were all scrapped in favour of the VP system (big improvement though, I remember 1st edition Epic taking an entire day to play). The only other scenario that I was aware of for SM2 was the attack/defend scenario which introduced bunkers & entrenchments etc. Has anyone developed any new scenarios on this group? Is there a thread somewhere that collects such new scenarios? Thanks again! |

Hi! There have been numerous attempts to make a collection of scenarios for netepic. There are a lot of things to try to scrounge up to add to that optional book, this is another one. I am a huge fan of siege scenarios and we had rules for all that, so I got to locate them as well. We have a yahoo group, that doesn't get a lot of use since our playtest/development phase is long in the past. But I will check out the files there and let you know what I find. Good questions and suggestions since I need to start compiling all these misc files. Primarch |

Hi! I would suggest that everyone either point out or send me any and all files with alternate rules and such so I can start put it together. Primarch |

Thanks for the tip off Scream, can't wait to try out some of those scenarios! Here's the link with the scenarios Primarch; http://www.netepic.org/uploads/3/4/2/0/ ... _final.pdf See pages 42 & 45 for the new scenarios. I also really like the Advances Objectives rule on page 43, great! I was having a look through the Imperial Guard army lists, and noticed on the stats that there is no longer any sign of super-heavy tanks being protected from close-assault by an array of bolters. I'm sure this isn't an accident, but I can't understand why they have been removed. This leaves super-heavies wide-open to being attacked by bikes and calvary. Not so good... |

Rulebooks have now been updated to their final version and the first post of the thread updated accordingly. Perhaps we could have CS lock the thread and/or delete the thread comments to make things simple? |

Perhaps we could have CS lock the thread and/or delete the thread comments to make things simple? I've locked the thread and changed the title to reflect this. The thread is, of course, still stickied. |
